PREMIER RETREAT: Deer Crossing Lodge- PERFECT LODGE RETREAT FOR YOUR FAMLY REUNION, CHURCH GROUP, WEDDING AND BUISNESS MEETINGS

Deer Crossing Lodge is a spacious 6 bedroom, 3 full bath upstairs and 1 full bath and 2 half baths downstairs cabin near Downtown Helen. It sleeps 26 people, and is spaced out very well. When you enter into this retreat you will feel peace and relaxation. The main level of this cabin has a large fully stocked kitchen with 2 ovens 2 dishwashers with all the conveniences of home, and the large gathering room in the center. You will find plenty of seating in the common area (with the 2 large dining room tables, and multiple sofa's (1 sleeper sofa). Gather around the huge gas log fireplace. You can enjoy sports on the large flat screen 57" smart tv, search the web with WiFi or just play a nice game of foosball on the game table. Not only does the main level have 2 half bathrooms but, it also provides a handicap shower downstairs. As you go up stairs (there are stairs on both sides of the cabin) you will walk down the hallway to the 6 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms on each side. There is a door in the middle of the hallway that may be shut and locked. Step outside and enjoy the mountain air while playing a nice round of horseshoes, basketball, or volleyball. Not only do you have those games but The Lodge also has a swing set, large stone bonfire pit, large private pavilion with large rock pillars (with ledges),and rock fireplace. It has plenty of outlets for ample electricity, picnic tables, and  a dance floor/ half basketball court. Please note that the Pavillion is rentend seperately form the Lodge. The cost is $150 per day or $250 for the length of your stay. Also included for the Pavillion is a large charcoal barbque gril.l The Lodge has a gas grill on the large wraparound back, half-covered deck.
The Deer Crossing Lodge is a great place to have your family reunion, your perfect wedding and church gatherings, or just get together with family and friends! The Lodge has 11 rectangular folding tables and 45 chairs, and we also have extra white chairs for rent. You can't go wrong with the Deer Crossing Lodge!!

  Firewood is provided upon request; but is not furnished by Tanglewood. If you would like to have firewood delivered to your cabin contact Sheila @ 706-878-9648; she sells it to our guest and delivers it to you. For 12 sticks it will be $15.00 and each additional stick will cost $1.00.
  She will provide starter wood if requested; but not needed. The starter is $5.00 for 3 sticks.
   

If you would like to reserve the Pavillion for your event the cost is $150 per day or $250 for the length of your stay. Please call the office to reserve 706-878-3286
If keys are not returned they will be $150.00 charge to have the cabin rekeyed.
If cabin is available for early check- at 2pm there is a $75 extra fee and for a later check out until 1pm there is an extra $75. fee. Please call our office availability. note the Pavillion does not come with the rental of the Deer Crossing Lodge it is a seperate property.
